Minimaze Procedure

Flexible instruments are inserted through incisions between the ribs. The catheter uses radiofrequency energy to create scars in the upper chambers of the heart to redirect the heart’s electrical signals and restore normal heart rhythm.

Repaired man – Because a Minimaze procedure restored his normal heart rhythm, Edward Diefenderfer of White Haven, Pa., can once again fix anything with an engine.
